Coryphee Duet

After a little break to finish off the Russian vehicle commission, I have come back to my Malifaux crews. I’m playing another tournament in a couple of weeks, so again it is going to be a little bit of a burst of work to get as much ready for the games. This time it’s a couple of Coryphee to go along with Colette.

I’ve gone for a burnt orange with one of the Coryphee, and a bright blue for the other. The hope,is that as these are complimentary colours they’ll sit well next to each other.

The body and joints use the same colours are the mannequins. The other colours are, as usual, listed below.

  • Bloomers:
    • Base: Blue Grey Pale (VMC 70.929)
    • Wash: OIF & OEF Wash (AK 121), very dilute
    • Highlight: White (VMC 70.951)

    • Shadow II: Blue Shade (VGC 73.207)
    • Highlight II: Deep Sky Blue (VMC 70.844)
  • Green Trim:
    • Base: Deep Green (VMC 70.970)
    • Highlight: Lime Green (VMC 70.827)
  • Blue Boots:
    • Base: Dark Prussian Blue (VMC 70.899)
    • Wash: Dark Wash (A.MIG-1008)

I also magnetised them. They’re on 40mm bases, but there is a game mechanic that lets you join them together into a single duet on a 50mm base. I’ve done this by attaching both Coryphee to magnets and then magnetising 2* 40mm and 1* 50mm bases. The magnets are different sized and strategically placed to make it so they both fit on the 50mm base, which is a little bit of a squeeze.
